Meet The Team
Mr. Arigo joined LuxUrban in March 2024 from M&R Hotel Management, which provides hospitality development, turnaround, and management services to a portfolio of hotels throughout the United States, where he served as Vice President beginning in 2018. Prior to this, Mr. Arigo was Senior Director of Operations at Hersha Hospitality Management (HHM), a hotel management company that operates over 240 properties, including luxury and lifestyle properties, across the United States and Canada. Prior to joining HHM, Mr. Arigo served as the Chief Operating Officer of Widewaters Hotels, a leading developer and owner of branded and independent hotels and extended stay properties. Mr. Arigo’s executive experience also includes Highgate Hotels, Belleview Biltmore Resort & Spa, Crestline Hotels, Interstate Hotels Corporations, and Marriott.
Prior to joining the Company in February 2024, Mr. James was a co-founder and director of and served as Chief Financial Officer for Edible Garden AG, a controlled environmental agriculture company. Since 2007 he has served as chairman, audit committee chair, and as a member of the compensation committee for Guided Therapeutics, Inc., a medical technology company. Mr. James has served as Chief Financial Officer of Blum Holdings (formerly Terra Tech), Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of nutritional supplements company Inergetics, Inc., and Chief Executive Officer and board member of software developer Nestor Inc.
Mr. James’ experience at private investment firms includes Managing Partner of Kuekenhof Capital Management, LLC, Partner at Moore Capital Management, Inc., and Chief Financial and Administrative Officer at Buffalo Partners, L.P. He also served as Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer of National Discount Brokers. Mr. James began his career as a staff accountant with EisnerAmper, LLP. He is a retired CPA.
Mr. Rothman joined LuxUrban Hotels initially as the acting Chief Financial Officer in 2021 when it was still known as CorpHousing Group. He transitioned into his current role when the company went public. He brings extensive financial experience in a variety of industries including health care, real estate, and legal services. As a consultant, Mr. Rothman performed Sarbanes-Oxley reviews and provided tax, project management, and outsourced accounting services for small & growing businesses. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of the University of Virginia.
